Ocean and white sand that makes the place for fishing and swimming. Here
underwater wildlife is extremely exotic and buzzing resorts provide you the
required privacy.
2. Polonnaruwa
Polonnaruwa
was the capital of Sri Lanka from the 11th to 13th
century and boasts some of fine pieces of architectures. During your Sri Lanka tour,
you will come across with several stylishly built Buddhist statues and relics
which remind you the ancient time. Archeological excavations are a common site
with which you often come across.
3. Elephant
Orphanage
Being
an integral part of cultural heritage, elephants are characterized in each part
of Sri Lanka. It would be impossible for you not to visit the Pinnawela
Elephant Orphanage during your Sri Lanka
holiday packages. Opened in 1975, it had only four orphaned elephant calves
but now it has 84 elephants.
